I’ve been buying my books for college for the past 2 years online and i will never go back to buying them in the college bookstore what so ever! SUCH A RIP OFF!!! But I allso found that searching the web for books can take alot of time and effort trying to actually find a store that is carrying your book. Thats when I discoverd Bigwords.com! It seriously saves me so much time and money and it’s fast and reliable! You really can’t ask for a better site. The reason I think they’re the best is that they compare many items at once, and calculate the best combination of stores to buy at, including coupons and shipping. They also let you include or exclude international editions, and they let you choose the ship time and then calculate the lowest price using the right shipping type at every store. Pretty neat! http://www.bigwords.com

Price Comparison sites are the way to go. They compare prices from a bunch of bookstores so that you can find the best deal. Use CampusBooks.com when buying your books and BookScouter.com to compare buyback prices at the end of the semester when selling them back. In many cases, you can buy a used book, keep it in good condition, and sell it back and it will hardly cost you anything.

I’m right there with evan. i came across bigwords.com through a few a few semesters back, and am so grateful. the interface of the site is so simple and easy. plus i always end up saving close to $300 a semester by purchasing my textbooks from that site. College is expensive nowadays, so it’s great to have a resource that helps you save a little.
